At Boren, I could really feel what being a part of an international community is like. I have made friends from countries all over the globe, from Canada to Brazil to Korea. Interacting and having fun with students of various backgrounds, my cultural perspective and understanding were greatly widened. Another thing I really liked was how the teachers not only focus on paper and memorization-based exams and assignments but also enrich the classroom with fun cumulative projects such as presentations, skits, songs, and posters. My academic journey at Boren could hence be fun and memorable and helped me develop various skills beyond the scope of just writing good essays. I will never be able to forget my student experience at Boren, and the unique teachers and thoughtful friends I have had.
